The book store in town offers to buy back your books when you’ve finished them, so Melissa went to turn in Looking for Alaska. The cashier goes, “Well, I can give you $3 for it, or you can wait. I’m sure a year from now, when nobody is reading it and it isn’t being sold everywhere, I can give you a bit more.”
Ha. Hahaha. That may happen to John’s books, but it’s certainly not going to happen in a YEAR.
“Like the way the sun is right now, with the long shadows, and that kind of bright, soft light you get when the sun isn’t quite setting? That’s the light that makes everything better, everything prettier, and today, everything just seemed to be in that light."

My new tattoo with a quote from John Green’s book “Looking for Alaska.”
If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.
